The artist has thought about how to capture the feeling of raindrops trickling into your face and 'draw' them on textiles. To do this, she has collected many meteorological facts and carried out experiments with water-sensitive textiles. The result are visual images of different rainy weather, from drizzle to continuous rain.
The beautiful handmade shower curtain, for example, shows the rain as it fell from the sky on April 5, 2012 in Amsterdam. The curtain's high-quality cotton is coated with a special acrylic coating that seals it and makes it waterproof, dimensionally stable and resistant to mold without losing the soft touch of pima cotton.
