Beetle' has already been a beetle, a car and now a chair from Danish manufacturer Gubi.
Like the insect and the car, the chair is also characterized by curves. In the case of the chair with full upholstery, these show up in the seat shell and backrest.
The veneer edition takes the organic, nature-inspired shape of the original 'Beetle' shell and adapts it to the realities of veneer processing. The result translates the characteristic curves of the 'Beetle' into a molded wood shell, giving the chair a new material aesthetic without compromising the comfort for which it is known.
In combination with the filigree 'Conic Base', the slender metal legs, the 'Beetle' looks incredibly graceful and timeless.
