Wooden Doll Cat by Vitra

What's that looking at us from the shelf? A rather artistic Büsi with set up ears.

The 'Doll Cats' are part of the Wooden Dolls Society, which Alexander Girard first designed for his own home in Santa Fe in 1952. The sometimes cheerful, sometimes grim faces of the figures were as enthusiastic then as they are today, which is why 'Vitra' has included them in its famous collection. As in the past, every single doll is handmade and painted. So every Wooden Doll is also unique.

As a small, charming enrichment of the interior, the 'Dolls' set accents and look really cool together with other figures from the family.

Alexander Girard was intensively involved with different folk arts during his work and often found a source of inspiration in them.

For big and small Büsi friends.
