Small wall lamp Original 1227 brass

The wall lamp 1227 was derived from the famous table lamp, which was invented by George Carwardine in 1934 and became a British design icon over the decades. In 2009 the 'Original 1227' could even be admired on a stamp.

The beautiful colours of the lamp, the twisted fabric cable and the authentic brass details create a new aesthetic in this iconic design by 'Anglepoise'.

Equipped with a discreet light switch, this wall lamp can be swivelled so that I can direct the light cone exactly where I need it.

Perfect for the reading corner or as a beautiful light source above the kitchen table.
