White Lamp 'Here Comes the Sun'

The 'Here Comes The Sun' lamp by Bertrand Balas is a light-filled classic that has been exuding charm and good light since 1970.

The shape of 'Here Comes The Sun' is particularly unusual. The switched on light conjures up a different mood here every time. Sometimes it seems as if the sun is rising or setting, or as if the moon is shining sweetly.

By the way, there is a nice story behind the poetic name of the lamp: Bertrand Balas had the Beatles song of the same name in mind when he was thinking of the name. The song was written at exactly the same time as the lamp: George Harrison wrote it in April 1969 in Eric Clapton's garden. After a long winter, he found inspiration in the first warm day of spring, in the melting ice and the still tentative rays of the sun.

So the song and the lamp saw the light of day at the same time. If that's not nice!
