Folding armchair by Marcel Breuer

I fell head over heels in love with this folding chair. That it is also a real design classic is just the icing on the cake.

As an outdoor counterpart to the famous 'Wassily Chair', the original model was presented by Marcel Breuer in 1927 in his first steel tube catalogue, mainly for sports fields, terraces, summer houses, gardens and garden cafés. Its formal reduction in volume takes up little space and still allows comfortable sitting.

The beautiful 'D4' with the soft cotton-linen fabric is in my living room, where it provides some relaxation next to the heavy leather sofa and still retains its noble appearance. Especially in a bright colour I like this armchair and it looks really nice.

A Breuer original from the Bauhaus era with style, charm and character.
