Homage' by Atelier Oï is an ode to the roller shutter furniture by Trix and Robert Haussmann. Its reinterpretation as a sideboard is a true masterpiece of form, function and charisma.
What I have fallen in love with at the moment is the actual roller shutter. An element that fascinates me quite a bit. Like a well thought-out architectural model, the individual rows pile up and fit together to form a beautiful and timeless piece of furniture. In the rhythm of the forms you catch a glimpse here and there, which gives 'Hommage' a great portion of lightness.
In the capable Swiss manufacture of 'Röthlisberger' the design is brought to life and made into a long-lasting shelf using high-quality materials and careful craftsmanship.
