Arcades' is a square carpet, which was knotted from jute.
The decidedly graphic design is particularly evident, contrasting beautifully with the natural material jute, reminiscent of the harsh shadows of sunny architecture captured in all its harshness by a photographer. Or the deep black ink of a calligraphy drawing.
Arcades' looks really good in the living or dining room, where it tickles your feet pleasantly when you walk over it.
The carpet comes from the traditional company 'Toulemonde Bochart' near Paris, which has developed from a small, fine family business into a well-known and extremely innovative carpet specialist.
