The Embroidered Pillow is the brainchild of designer Alexander Girard, whose work enriched 20th century design with a sensual and playful component that modernism in its classical form had previously lacked.For the pleasantly taut and elaborately embroidered Embroidered Pillows, 'Vitra', in collaboration with the Girard family, selected suitable subjects from the inexhaustible pool of fabrics and motifs.
From the series I have chosen the motif with the two colourful graphic hearts for you. At their tip the hearts touch each other - a sign of infinity.
I especially like the rich blue, which looks really nice and peppy especially in contrast to the other colours. Looks really great on the simple sofa, on the leather chair or on the bed and sets accents.
